Who we are...
For nearly 170 years, Wesley United Methodist Church has been the spiritual home for many living in the Ludlow area. We welcome you to join our church family.
Our church’s name honors the founder of the Methodist movement, John Wesley. Though well-educated, Wesley called himself a “man of one book.” From this book, the Bible, Wesley learned that the love of God in Jesus Christ reaches out in gracious forgiveness to every human being.
Wesley also believed that Christian faith is to be put into action. He said, “Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can.”
As a church, we hope to follow this wisdom. We believe that everyone needs to know the assurance of God’s love. And, when we do, we will want to show that love to others. Learning the ways of God is something we can do better together!
